A young Nigerian woman has gone viral on social media after sharing the shocking ordeal she experienced when her apartment was burgled overnight. In a video posted on X, the lady recounted how thieves broke into her home, stealing several of her belongings, leaving her shaken and terrified.
According to the young woman, she had a strong feeling not to sleep in her apartment the previous night. Acting on her instincts, she spent the night at a friend’s place. On returning home the next morning, she was met with a scene of chaos and loss. “My first horrible experience as a girl staying in the ghetto, nobody prepares you for this,” she said while showing the damaged door and the padlock that had been forcibly broken. “They’ve taken my gas. I’m really, really scared. Thank God I didn’t sleep here last night—my mind was already telling me not to.”
The video quickly attracted attention, with many users expressing both sympathy and concern for her situation.
