The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced a crucial update for young graduates preparing for the national service year, as NYSC releases call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members. The management of the scheme confirmed that the long-awaited call-up numbers have been made available and can now be accessed by all eligible graduates who successfully completed their registration for this batch. According to the NYSC, the release follows a systematic process based on the order in which applicants registered on the portal.
In a public statement shared via the scheme’s official X handle (@officialnyscng) on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the management expressed its pleasure to inform all registered members that the NYSC releases call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members in line with the organization’s operational schedule. This announcement marks the final stage before the commencement of the Batch C orientation exercise, signaling that preparations for camp are fully underway across the country.

However, the NYSC also revealed that only about 40 percent of the registered Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) would be accommodated in the upcoming orientation camps. This decision, according to the statement, stems from capacity constraints in the camps spread across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Each state camp, the management explained, can only admit a limited number of participants per batch to ensure smooth operations, adequate accommodation, and safety compliance.
The scheme further clarified that this limitation should not cause panic or frustration among applicants. It assured all those who could not be accommodated in the current batch that they would automatically be reassigned to the next batch. The NYSC emphasized that no registered member will miss their service opportunity, as the next orientation programme will follow soon after the conclusion of the Batch C exercise.
“Please note that due to camp capacity across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT, only about 40 percent of registered Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme,” the statement read in part. “Rest assured, those not accommodated will be automatically moved to the next Batch, which will take place soon after the Batch C exercise.”
The NYSC management also reiterated its commitment to maintaining a transparent and efficient deployment process. It encouraged prospective corps members to regularly check their online dashboards for updates regarding their call-up letters, deployment states, and orientation camp details. The organization advised them to begin making necessary travel and logistical preparations once they confirm their call-up numbers, but to wait for the official call-up letters before proceeding to their respective camps.
Furthermore, the NYSC assured the public that it remains focused on ensuring a smooth and hitch-free orientation experience for all participants. It highlighted that several measures have been put in place to enhance camp management, safety, and welfare of corps members nationwide.
This development has sparked excitement among graduates who have been eagerly waiting for the announcement. Many have taken to social media platforms to celebrate the release, while others expressed hope of being included in the current batch. The NYSC releases call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members serves as a major milestone in the journey of these young Nigerians, marking the beginning of their contribution to national development through the mandatory one-year service.
