Bishop David Abioye, the founder of Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly and former First Vice Chairman of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has recently shared a deeply moving story about his wife’s miraculous healing. In a trending video, Bishop David Abioye revealed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, his wife was diagnosed with HIV — a revelation that shocked many of his followers. However, he emphasized that instead of accepting the diagnosis, he fought back with unwavering faith until the sickness disappeared completely.

According to Bishop David Abioye, the disturbing news came at a time when the world was battling the Covid-19 crisis. Yet, he stood firm, declaring that his wife could not be bound by such an affliction. The clergyman explained that he immediately turned to the Scriptures and began to exercise his faith through prayer and confession. “During Covid-19, they said my wife had HIV. I said, ‘No, not in this body,’” he narrated.

He went on to describe how his spiritual conviction led to a miraculous turnaround. After declaring healing through faith, the couple returned to the hospital for another test — but to everyone’s amazement, the doctors could not find any trace of HIV in her body. “By the time they checked her again, because I got a scriptural revelation that said, ‘The prince of this world came and found nothing in me,’ they did the check-up again and couldn’t find anything there,” Bishop David Abioye recounted confidently.

The video, shared by Church Gist on its official X handle (@therealchurchg1), has since gone viral, drawing widespread reactions across social media platforms. Many viewers expressed awe and admiration for Bishop David Abioye’s display of faith and authority in the face of adversity.

Addressing his congregation, Bishop David Abioye used the experience to teach a profound lesson about confronting sickness with determination and spiritual strength. He asserted that believers should never tolerate or negotiate with illness. Instead, they must fight it with boldness, much like the biblical David fought Goliath. “Healing is not for gentlemen. You don’t nurse sickness to go; you fight sickness to go,” he declared passionately.

He further compared sickness to societal evils like banditry, saying that just as negotiating with criminals only strengthens them, tolerating disease allows it to persist. “Some elements in the country are negotiating with bandits, and the more they negotiate, the more established those bandits become. You don’t negotiate sickness to go; you crush it to go. You stand on top of it like David stood on Goliath’s head to cut it down,” he said.

Through his testimony, Bishop David Abioye emphasized that faith and decisive action are crucial when facing life-threatening challenges. He reminded his followers that questioning why sickness occurs only leads to confusion, but confronting it with faith ensures victory. “You don’t wonder why sickness is here; otherwise, you’ll become a wanderer,” he concluded.

The story of Bishop David Abioye and his wife’s miraculous healing continues to inspire many within and outside the Christian community. It serves as a powerful reminder of the strength of faith, the authority of spoken words, and the importance of standing firm against fear.
